Earthquake - The Big One

Live show
Status: This is no longer open.

Description

Earthquake was a multi-part show and ride that closed in November 2007.

Originally, the attraction featured a filmed pre-show about the 1970s disaster film of the same name, followed by an audience participation stunt demonstration show. Visitors then boarded ride trams, themed to San Francisco's BART trains, for a ride through a special-effects laden simulated earthquake.

The attraction was replaced by "Disaster! A Major Motion Picture Ride . . . Starring You," which included some of the same ride elements, along with additional show elements, effects and a new storyline.
