Audience members are invited to audition for this theme park version of the old NBC stunt competition show. The show plays only during the busy times of the year in the park, but if you’re visiting during the summer, spring break, or the Christmas holidays, check the show schedule for showtimes and information on how to audition for that day’s shows, if you’re up for the sometime-gross challenges.
Ugh. Fear Factor Live is a stage version of NBC's on-again, off-again reality ickfest, which clawed its way back to prime time for a blessedly brief run in 2011-12. The stage show is performed in a covered theater and consists of three different challenges including bugs, spiders, scorpions, stunts, and smoothie with cockroaches. It sounds and is disgusting just like the show it's based on. Honestly, it sounds like it would be a cool show but it really disappoints and is total waste of space right next to the best area in the park, Diagon Alley. The fact that it's seasonal says it all, just get rid of it! It also replaced the excellent Wild West Stunt show. It's nothing like Waterworld in Hollywood. Don't expect much, because it's one of worst shows in any theme park, anywhere, ever. You have been warned. 4/10
Easy standout for worst attraction in the park, even before Twister and Disaster were closed. This has somehow outlasted much better attractions, and has been farting along as a seasonal attraction for years. Complete waste of space- Universal needs to put this show out of its misery already.
Groos and unfunny.
And who could ever eat that disgusting, godawful witch's brew?
Saw it once and what a terrible waste of space. Wish Universal had a great show again like Waterworld or the Wild West Stunt Show. Now those were shows worth seeing.
A terrible neighbor to Diagon Alley.
