Great campy fun - Nathaniel Gillespie Great old ride. You can tell that when this one was originally launched it was innovative and a real hit. Surprisingly, it still keeps a fairly long line when it is up and running. It is a bit dated and the shark is hokey (just like the one in the movie was) but missing this one is like skipping a key part of the experience for this park. - Christian Baggett Not always open and slow loading. Looking dated and needs an upgrade! - Mark Moore This ride, though it has many issues and seems to break down every other day, it is the second best ride IMO in the park. It is alot of fun, and still everytime I ride it scares people right out of their seats. The key also to making this ride good is the fact that usually you get a really good tour guide which adds to the ride experience. Hopefully they dont close this ride because it is still better than Disaster, or Simpsons, or Shrek, or Jimmy Neutron, etc. I definately recommend this ride, especially for those new to the park. Ignore its age, it is still leaps ahead of some of the newer rides. - Chris Shafer never change it, its a classic - Rob Chandler good ride, time to upgrade it for something new - tyler bell although it isn't one of universal's premier thrill rides, it's a classic. and shouldn't be missed during your trip. it's actually quite enjoyable, and i love how the tour guide really gets in on the action. - liz corso Jaws is a classic Universal ride. What starts as a scenic New England boat tour turns out to be a fun and exciting ride when the shark comes out and wrecks havoc on the boat. Unlike the Jungle Cruise at MK, most skippers do a good job and its very rare to get a bad skipper. The scenery and detail on the ride is very good and the ending is explosive. This ride is a definite must see. The only bad thing about this attraction is the queue area. The video shown in line is weird and the queue area gets very hot during the day. Try this ride at night since lines are shorter and it is a different experience than during the day. - Manny Barron To me, this is the quintessential Universal Studios attraction. I absolutely love the scenery and I think that the shark itself is genuinely scary. Actually, I love the entire Amity section of Universal Studios. It just represents Universal's ability to create a realistic atmospher at its finest. Do be warned, though: there are spots on the boat that do get wet, particularly on the left side. Not soaked, but definitely wet. - Lindsay Murray
