Readers' Opinions
The guy who "drove" the boat was a little corny. Actually I think the whole thing is a little corny, but that is what makes it so much fun!!! I totally love the ride it a classic that Universal should never get rid of. If you don't do anything on your trip to Universal definately do this!!!! - Monica Millsaps I love this ride. It is a little goofy but it is very fun. The boat shakes, water splashes up and there is fire. - Joe YO Very good ride. You're right in the middle of the action, which is what we look for in a movie-themed park. Needs a bit more of a preshow, but other than that, it's almost a prefect attraction. I hope they never change it. - Gil Long This ride is starting to look a little dated but is still a 'must see'. The younger kids will love this but it's quite tame compared to some of the attractions. Still good fun though. - neil Jackson This is a great ride. The fire and water effects are spectacular, and the shark looks good given its age. - Patrick Gorham This is a great ride, classic movie, and should never be replaced! I am always for improving, but this is a great attraction, if you haven't yet, GO AT NIGHT! Much Better! - Michael Newsom This is a classic that never gets old. It's always enjoyable to watch the enthusiasm of the cast members and the suspense of the of the shark attack is great. (Going into the dark shack gets me everytime!). - Diana Krasfron its true this is a classic ride and should never be replaced if you have young kids take them on it they will love it ,its not a ride to miss out - DARRAN HAYWARD Universal....please, DONT EVER GET RID OF THIS! THis is a classic which should really stay for all-time unlike the cruel fate Kong, Hitchcock and BTTF received. However, I've heard from castmembers the contrary...the most expensive ride to operate may one day be replaced. This ride is great and I find it to be enjoyable all around...the better your "skipper" the more enjoyable it is. - Wilfredo Alvelo It needs to fix some things. The shark, very poor looking, especially when it 'dies'. More uncomfortable than thrilling for me. - Molly R a classic! however they really need to fix a couple things. for a while the shark's teeth were little black stumps, however i went to universal a couple weeks ago and was quite happy to see that they had in fact addressed that problem and now the teeth are nice, white, and sharp. however the sharks themselves could also do with a little work. sometimes they don't move right or not at all. well when the ride works properly, its great as always. don't skip it. - roxy m |
