This new show in Universal's Castle Theater replaces a similar show that long played on Universal's Lower Lot. (That show closed to make room for the new Transformers ride, debuting in 2012.)

Special Effects Stage will depict some of the technology and techniques that moviemakers use to create fantastic sound and images on screen. This show goes less into Special Effects a little, but hilarious, they demonstrate a cutting with a "knife", it's pretty neat, there are strobe and fog effects in this show, this show is recommended for those who want to be in the movie industry.

CLASSIC!!! :D Will alllwaayyysss be the must-see show of USH!!! - N O

Good show overall. Some of the jokes make you feel like they are trying way to hard to get laughs. The old version was a ten in my book, and i liked the procession from room to room. This version is a larger auditorium and the whole show takes place there. It's just less intimate. - Jay Finch
