Readers' Opinions
An interesting and little known fact about this carousel is that Disney imported it from an old, abandoned amusement park called Olympic Park in my hometown of Maplewood New Jersey and refurbished it into what you see today. This carousel was manufactured in 1917 and Disney bought it when Olympic Park closed in 1967. Cinderella's Golden Carrousel made it's debut when Magic Kingdom opened in 1971. Today it is 92 years old. - William Clark This is ok...I've never really liked carrousels but this one is beautiful! - Sam W A very nice Carousel with great detail. Pal Mickey can tell which one is Cinderella's horse. - Evan Wood A beautiful carousel. All it is is a glorified carousel so if u like that i do recommend it. ask a cast member operating the ride and they can usually tell you which horse is Cinderella's. - Joe Thomas The most beautiful and detailed carousel you will ever see...worth a trip if you have little ones. - Wilfredo Alvelo A good attraction to the park, but is like any other carrousel. A very good looking attraction also. - Sarah Larkin
