Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe reviews
Theme Park Insider readers offer their ratings and reviews for Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe, a counter service restaurant in Tomorrowland at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom.
Written by James Rao Tomorrowland's quick service megaplex. There's something for everyone here, but you may have to stand in several different lines to get it. Chicken, ribs, wraps, hot dogs, burgers, salads, soups, chili, kid's meals, and a huge fixin's bar.
There's also some "out-of-this-world" entertainment on stage to keep guests entertained while grazing.
Readers' rating:
Food is what you'd expect from a theme park. nothing special and pricey for what it is. The stupid animatronic puppet actually replaced a live band years ago. I think the band was called "Tobacco" or "Tabasco". Either way they were better than the automaton that replaced them. You could do better at the park. - Eric Zaldivar Poor food. Poor seating system. DON'T EAT THERE! - James Wimbury The reason this place is so awesome is Sonny Eclipse. His 24 minute "show" is very enjoyable, filled with catchy music and a few knee slappers. The food isn't anything to special, but it's good enough for the price, and the atmosphere makes it what it is. - Mike Brilhart Good family place to eat, although better late at night when you can actually find a seat is when its really enjoyable. Decent food. Decent prices. - Arianna Biffle I disliked this restaurant more than any other I have ever eaten at inside Disney. Very unorganized and couldn't find anywhere to sit. When we finally found a table our food was ice cold. Although, the food wouldn't have been very appetizing if it had been hot. Burger was flavorless and wasn't sure if it was even real meat. Would not recommend this place. - Terri Pierce Great variety of food choice and great music playing through the sound system. Be sure to have a look at "Sunny Eclipse" playing on the main stage. - Wilfredo Alvelo A great place for a big family to eat. The portions are huge and it's not hard to share a combo meal with someone. - Brandie S pretty good burgers and other food. big place. one of the better counter services at MK. - David L.
