The Barnstormer roller coaster used to be part of the now-closed Mickey’s Toontown. This Vekoma-made junior coaster track is the same as it was before, except it has been redecorated to fit the "Storybook Circus” theme of its new home.
While it is just a kid's coaster, it actually is a really fun coaster! Sure, it's incredibly short, the ride is over before you know it, it only goes around once, and the line is quite boring. However, this ride is so charming and thrilling for a kid that I just enjoy it so much. This is a roller coaster for kids who want to say they did a coaster if they are scared or too short for other coasters. It's just a nice ride, that's all. An above-average child roller coaster, for sure. 5/10
This was the first roller coaster my seven year old daughter went on in 2013. At the time, it was quite the thrill for her, with the turns and a small drop. However, after a few days in the park, and riding space mountain, splash mountain, and thunder mountain, we again rode Barnstormer. It had lost the luster, the thrill it had before. I would recommend this ride for the young ones to start their journey in thrill rides. However, after moving to the next level, I would pass on it.
An above-average child's roller coaster.
