The Magic Carpets of Aladdin reviews
Theme Park Insider readers offer their ratings and reviews for The Magic Carpets of Aladdin, a spinner in Adventureland at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom.
Written by Robert Niles In 2001, Disney added The Magic Carpets of Aladdin in the middle of Adventureland. The ride's essentially the same as Fantasyland's Dumbo, but with flying carpets instead of flying elephants, moving up and down and around and around. Also like Dumbo, The Magic Carpets of Aladdin doesn't accommodate very many riders at once, so expect a long wait if there's a line.
Readers' rating:
Pointless attraction. Adventureland used to have a spacious marketplace courtyard. Thanks to this lame spinner it is now very cramped. - Eric Zaldivar This is a Dumbo copy which offers nothing unique at all. Skip it or do it late in the evening, when you're accidently at Adventureland and Pirates is already closed! - Chris W. Why have this ride, Disney has dumbo, space orbitor..waste of space! 1/10. - B Higgins Shouldn't exist. The last thing MK needs is more spinners. - Sean Huckel Just another Dumbo style ride. Great for the kids. - Don Neal A nice flight above adventureland. Another lame dumbo clone, but my family liked it. - Brendan Harrison Go on the Flying Dumbo ride. It's the same thing with less of a wait half the time. - Sarah Durden Go on during after magic hours no line. Not worth it if there is more than a five to ten minute way. - Arianna Griffel It's the same as the Dumbo ride but with a different theme. If the line is short (5-10 mins)it's worth a ride. If you only have time for one ride go on Dumbo instead because of the history. Plus Aladdin isn't as well known by kids today. 6/10. - Bob Liebe Did we really need another Dumbo ride? It has a nice theme, however it doesn't seem to serve much purpose other than to take up room. - Brandie S Yet another Dumbo clone. Does the Magic Kingdom really need all these crappy midway spinners? - James Rao More attraction and restaurant ratings: |
