Geronimo SkycoasterSwing rideMinimum height to ride: 42 inches About Geronimo SkycoasterOur tallest thrill ride, Geronimo Skycoaster, is a combination sport and amusement attraction. One to three riders are placed in full body flight suits, hoisted approximately 180 feet from the ground and when the ripcord is released, hang on. It gives them the sensation of hang gliding and skydiving at speeds accelerating to 60-80 mph. The launch cable is attached to a 180 foot “A” frame tower and when riders begin their decent they experience an exciting “ground rush” as they swiftly pass over the soil at the lowest part of the ride. In a pendulum motion, flyers will swing back and forth approximately 10 times before coming to rest on the platform. Most riders describe the experience as a sensation of “body flight” and the ultimate “rush”. Geronimo is open selected park days and hours for a small additional fee.
