Boomerang reviews
Theme Park Insider readers offer their ratings and reviews for Boomerang, a roller coaster at Worlds of Fun. (The minimum height to ride is 48 inches.)
Written by James Rao Readers' rating:
I am confused as of who thought this design was so great that they built them everywhere. Nowadays, they're all pretty jerky and the only ones with a real line are the ones installed at really small parks and they're the star attractions. I find the inverted boomerangs much better. It is really sad to see a classic coaster get torn down to make room for some crap like a boomerang. - Bradley Keith For those of you who are familiar with my comments on this website, you know how much I loathe the Vekoma Boomerang. It is the most overused coaster in the world today with almost 50 of these rides in use at various parks. The Boomerang is a very slow loading attraction (if there is a line at all - no one seems to be riding it these days - hint, hint, WOF park officials), and the 30-second ride is definitely not worth any sort of wait. The whole trip feels like the beginning of a decent coaster, and just when it starts to get good, the ride ends. - James Rao Eh, it's a Boomerang. What more can I say? 4/10 - Blake Nieman More attraction and restaurant ratings: |
