Coasters Drive-InCounter serviceAbout Coasters Drive-InCounter service restaurant near the Mamba. Has both indoor and outdoor seating. A 50's style restaurant, Coasters is similar in food choices to your local Steak n' Shake: cheeseburgers, fries, chicken sandwiches, to go cookies, and milk shakes. Also serves fresh baked pizza. -- Last edited by Aaron Carroll [Update this description | Read previous versions] Photos from Coasters Drive-InReaders' Opinions
Standard amusement park fare: short on quantity and quality but long on expense. Three kid's meals (hot dogs, fries, snack cookies, and a small soda) + one adult Coaster Burger and seven (I counted them) onion rings will run you about $32 with tax. The kid's hot dogs are big on bun but lite on dog, although the dogs are decent tasting. The kids also get a handful of crinkle-cut fries, which are okay. The side of onion rings (while short on supply) tasted good. The adult Coaster Burger is lousy. Reminds me of the old school cafeteria burgers we used to get - bland and charred until flavorless. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is fine (50's setting with small jukeboxes in the booths), and it does have air-conditioned seating which is a plus. However, a 50's style restaurant does not really fit the Africa theme of the section, but this is Cedar Fair - not Disney! - James Rao
