No theme park affiliations for me, although I have been going to theme parks my entire life. Born in Southern CA (Simi Valley), I've explored Disney, Universal, Knotts, and Magic Mountain. Living in Fremont (near San Francisco), I made yearly visits to Great America when it was still owned by Marriott. During my teen years in Annandale, VA, I spent time at BGW & KD when the Loch Ness Monster and Grizzly were new. Now, stuck in the Midwest, I make the best of it by propping up my local iron ride park, Worlds of Fun, and regularly visiting the best theme park in the Bible Belt, Silver Dollar City. And with a love of beaches and a few relatives in Florida, I have made pilgrimages to Orlando every few years for some time now. In all my travels, I have found that above all, I enjoy the immersive quality of the Disney Experience, as well as the intense pleasure of uber coasters (like Kraken at SeaWorld and Voyage at Holiday World). The only things I do not like at theme parks are long lines, filth, carnival games, up charge attractions, mall food court caliber restaurants (or worse), and midway rides. My quest in life is to eradicate common midway experiences from all major theme parks!
