Hi, all,
I'm looking for a copy of the Riverboat spiel from Six Flags Over Georgia circa late 1960's.
By way of introduction, I worked at Six Flags Over Georgia for several years when I was a high school/college student. I started work on the exact day the park opened back in June 1967. I worked in ride operations and, during my time there, worked on literally every ride and attraction in the park.
Most of my time, though, was spent working on the Riverboat Ride, aka Jean Ribault's Adventure. I was foreman on the Riverboat the last year I worked there.
Now the point of my post. I recently stumbled across a post on this forum from about a year ago in which a forum member, Rob McCullough I believe, quoted a paragraph from the spiel. I would love to obtain a copy of the complete spiel.
Anyone who can help me out, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!
Thanks, Rob. Melinda actually worked on the Riverboat ride while I was foreman there! I appreciate your help.
My pleasure @Riverboat_Larry. Hope you were able to find what you were looking for.

Hi guys, I'm Rob McCullough. I am an admin on the SFOG History group on Facebook. We have a copy of that posted by group member and former SFOG park president Melinda Ashcraft...so you know you can trust the source.
If you are not yet members of the group, request to join and be SURE to answer the required membership questions. I'll approve you and then you can search the group and it will pop up.
Hope this helps!
