I see lots of people reviewing the new ministry of magic ride, so that means it is open. Was it as good as you thought it was going to be? Spoiler free review? Has your list changed? I cant wait to hear your response, and anyone else who has ridden the ride or has thoughts in general. I personally think that it will crash less compared to monsters because it has less viceral animatronics and more spaces instead?

Last weekend was, to my knowledge, the first day of "official" TM previews for the ride. The attraction still hasn't opened for regular preview Guests other than those who were invited to media day.
I am hesitant to hype up the ride so it doesn't become another Monsters situation but it truly is Universal's answer to ROTR. It has a good combination of animatronics, show action equipment, screens, and projection mapping. However, when compared to Monsters, I'd say that there are more screens than animatronics but the screens add to the experience rather than take away. I don't want to give much more away because I want you to be able to experience it with an open mind (unless you want me to go into detail on each of the scenes, then I can just lmk). Currently, it is my #1 for the park but my overall ranking list has not changed.
My main issue with the attraction is what many have already discussed. It is one of, if not the most, technologically advanced attraction ever built, with the ride vehicle being a step forward in vehicle mobility. With that, I confidently presume it will go down frequently. I really hope the maintenance team can find a way to efficiently upkeep the ride so it can stay open with everything working.
since you were more or less negative about monsters(btw a pov came out and I already think you were wrong) i thought you would be more negative about this one, but the way you described it actually seems more like what people were describing for monsters unchained in the beginning(although without all the story being mussed up). If you want to compare the two, I have a thread. P.S i know its evil but there is something satisfying about your top 4 rides being all universal rides, sorry disney lovers i know it has better atmosphere and food and shows. even though epic will have all those and supposedly be even better

I saw that a POV for Monsters was posted. Was sooooo hard not to click on it but I resisted! Both for not seeing spoilers and also for not rewarding rule breakers.
Sigh, if only i was so resistant. t was incredibly cool though. Good on you for resisting!
