What is the One Ride you have rode the Most?

April 17, 2026, 11:10 AM

Now remember it might not be your favorite or the best ride but what have you ridden the most.

Take something like ET at Universal Studios, nice peaceful ride, nostalgic, long running and enjoyable. Something like this can definitely be on someone's list.
Heck, TH Creative will probably say Tea Cups at Disney - HAHAHA

Some Guy said he Rode - Rip Ride Rocket 10,000 times… And Universal celebrated that feat. I questioned the number with Universal on Twitter, I asked who counted and is there any proof, they never answered. If you do the Math it seems untrue. 10,000/ 5 = 2,000 Then 2,000/365 = 5.4 years… So he rode it let's say 5 times a day - everyday for 5.4 years??
Just think about the parking fees alone.

But anyway I digress… Back to the original thought. I would have to say Hulk or Spiderman.

Haunted Mansion and PotC at Magic Kingdom, Jurassic Park River Adventure at IoA and Toy Story Mania at Disney Studios. Not very thrill orientated as I get motion sickness but love all four in their distinctive, creative, immersive and unique ways.

Haunted Mansion is probably my single most ridden. Next tier would be Splash Mountain, Pirates, Spaceship Earth, Hulk, Big Thunder, the Great Movie Ride, Star Tours
Next tier Harry Potter Forbidden Journey, Dueling Dragons, Space Mountain, Back to the Future, Jungle Cruise

I've got 502 rides in on Mako .... a drop in ocean compared to some of the guys who ride it regularly.

Next best is 54 on Velocicoaster

There was some guy earlier this week who claimed to have ridden on all 24 seats on Velocicoaster in a single day. I accomplished that feat on Alpengeist (all 32 seats in a day) over a decade ago, which is probably my most ridden attraction (probably close to 500 rides) with I-305/Patherian a distant second.

(Shakes head, then lowers it. Big sigh.)

Country Bear Jamboree.

For rides specifically, depending upon how you count it, I guess Tom Sawyer Island rafts. (RIP.)

Why do so many guys ride mako so often? I hear V-coaster is much better, and its literally a few miles away. (For me, I'm guessing v-coaster myself, but I'm pretty spread out at the parks)

Probably star tours, now that I think about. It's the oldest ride that I always do at least twice a visit because of the variation and short lines.

I have ridden Raging Bull SFGA more than 300 times, which is a far cry from the guy who rode HRRR 10,000. Raging Bull has been around for quite a while, and before MaxxForce, it was the ride that we always rope dropped. (My kids make me keep a list when we go to a theme/amusement park because they set a goal for the # of rides for the day, and then attempt to beat it. Our record on one particularly dead day at SFGA was 35 and 90% of that was roller coasters.)

Most continuous rides... The Voyage at Holiday World. In 2020, coming out of Covid, Holiday World was using a reservation app for rides, only people we not using it correctly. Our ride window arrived, and we were basically alone. The ride ops let me and my 7 year old stay on the ride until someone came to our row, after nine straight we wanted to get off, but wanted to see how high we could get...12 straight rides!)

El Toro, both for total number of rides (in the hundreds, I didn't keep count) and number of consecutive rides (10). Apart from being a masterpiece of design and an aggressive thrill ride, this coaster was the beginning of a journey. I hadn't ridden a roller coaster in almost 40 years, not since the Coney Island Cyclone circa 1971, but in 2010 at the age of 59 I decided to ride El Toro largely because my ex-fiance said that I was too old to ride roller coasters and I wanted to disprove that theory.

Spite is such a wonderful motivator.

I met my wife because she auditioned for the Disney All-American College Orchestra simply to piss off her then (and soon to be ex) boyfriend.

@ Bobbie Butterfield - rode Velocicoaster for the first time in December at the age of 61 since the person with me (49) didn't think I could handle it. I laughed the whole time while he yelled the F word MULTIPLE times. He should have learned since the year before he thought I would be scared on the Hulk ..... which is one of my favorite rides.
Most consecutive rides was Expedition Everest - went on 14 times in a row since the single rider was walk on & I had time to kill before a lunch reservation.
Ride I've ridden the most is probably the Galaxy at Paragon Park (R.I.P) in Hull MA - the "big coaster" they had there was moved to Maryland & renamed The Wild One at the now closed Six Flags there. Sad it will probably face the wrecking ball - supposedly Judy Garland used to rent out Paragon Park after hours so Liza could ride it.
