What happened to S&S' giant coaster in Orlando?

Does anyone remember the concept art for the giant, 200+ foot concept art for a green S&S launch coaster that was revealed at the IAAPA expo?

I remember it evidently had a swing launch, wrapped around a new set of drop towers, and was billed as the "tallest coaster in Orlando". .all on a thin strip of land next to Mango's tropical cafe. Also looked to have 3-4 inversions.

Does anybody know if any meaningful permit work, construction, information has been revealed for this thing? What are the odds this is actually happening? Should I drop the cautious optimism?

The owner of Mango Joe's nightclub (name: Joshua Wallack) was the developer/leader of this farce. He said he was going to do it, got government approval (which was a big deal, Universal made a big stink about it ruining their sightlines), and then never got the financing to do it. The project is dead.

Last year at IAAPA there was a video that surfaced from S&S of a launched coaster and drop tower at Mango Joes, but as far as I know Mango Joe's hasn't said anything about it, so my assumption is its probably another idea he had that he has no financing for.

Well, there goes that. Thanks though. I heard the BGT giga isn't happening either, so not a lot to look forward to in terms of giant coasters in central Florida.

The project is on track and I expect details to be in the media at the appropriate time.
