Knott's Independence Hall now open only on weekends
I saw a rumor that Knott's Berry Farm had closed their Independence Hall to all except school groups and that it was no longer open to the public.
I had to call Knott's guest relations office to find out, but they have closed the replica of the historic Philadelphia statehouse Mondays through Fridays starting this week. It is still open to the public on Saturdays and Sundays during their regular hours, 10 am to 4 pm. The website still lists the attraction as being open, without any mention of the weekends.
Although I couldn't get a confirmation, but it looks like a budget-cutting move by Cedar Fair. Their Independence Hall replica doesn't get a lot of visitors, and limiting hours to the weekends makes budget sense, even if it is an unfortunate development.
