What is your favorite park and why?

So I have a fun question to ask everyone. between Walt Disney World, Islands or adventure, and Universal Orlando, What is your favorite park? Now for WDW I want a specific park considering they have a number.

I will start, I have always loved Disney and Universal equally as a kid, however as I have gotten older I have grown to like Universal more. Now that doesnt necessarily mean because it is tailored to a more mixed age demographic, but their IP's I enjoy alot more than disney. I also love the fact that they tend to add new attractions at a faster and more reasonable pace.

One final note I will say before leaving the discussion open, is that Universal holds Halloween Horror nights. Aside from the fact that this gets super crowded, It offers a change of atmosphere in universal for the months they are running it. Me and my girlfriend go every year.

So what is your favorite park?

I am a dyed in the wool Magic Kingdom fan. My parents first took me there in 1972, the better half and I returned in 2000. It's a mix of nostalgia and and the solid job WDW does of suspending reality while there. While not cutting edge in technology, attractions like the Haunted Mansion, Splash Mountain and Jungle Cruise set the bar for theming. Other attractions might actually surpass them, but only because the newer attractions were able to stand on the shoulders of giants so to speak.

Haunted Mansion is still one of my favorite attractions to this day. I just wish Disney would put more dark rides like that.

Magic Kingdom. Immersive entertainment. Classic attractions. The most recognizable theme park icon on the planet (Cinderella's Castle). And more than anything else cast members whose commitment to quality service is unmatched

I perfer Islands of Adventure due to it's action packed and immersive rides and the simply amazing Harry Potter land.

Disney-MGM Studios! I've always loved the movies and the combination of Star Tours, Indy, and The Great Movie Ride really appeals to me. The glitz and atmosphere of "a Hollywood that never was" from the 1920s and 30s feels special. The Tower of Terror is one of Disney's best attractions ever, and the best version is at "MGM". And the intimate size of the park makes it very comfortable in getting from one end of the park to the other. What I miss, though, is the "studios" portion of the park and the streetmosphere that used to exist. When MGM was in its prime, it felt like anything could happen at the drop of a hat and the guests were in the middle of it.

Without a doubt, Magic Kingdom is my favorite Orlando park. As a matter of fact, Magic Kingdom is my second favorite amusement park (second to Disneyland). I love Magic Kingdom because it's truly magical and I think the magic stems from the incredible amount of detail that WDI put into the park. Plus, during Christmas time, the Magic Kingdom really comes to life. Here's my top three list of best amusement parks in Orlando.
1. Magic Kingdom
2. Island of Advenure
3. Epcot

I really like EPCOT, but I am a bit of a nerd ;)

Robert Niles did an excellent article on EPCOT a couple of years ago. People need to be more open to the real "magic" that happens around the world and in science and industry!

Easily. Magic Kingdom. Nothing can or will ever match the detail, entertainment, the immersive experience and the attractions

Island of Adventure. It was already amazing before Hogsmeade and then it just crushed everything else. But since I can't travel until after graduating, I have to make do with USH

As most people have been saying magic kingdom wins, lately island of adventure has gave it a run for its money but it doesn't beat it. There's so many memories in magic kingdom, it makes me feel like I'm 6 again, I love it,m. They definitely had a couple of misses , for example the seven dwarves mine train did not deliver , and there are a couple of rides which should go (stitch encounter) but overall it has amazing rides like splash mountain , thunder mountain , and more. There's a feel of nostalgia and beauty to that park that no other park will ever beat for me personally.
