On the road to Las Vegas

November 18, 2009, 6:57 AM · I am on the road to Las Vegas this morning, for the annual IAAPA Attractions Expo. I'll be posting to Twitter while I am there, as well as trying to make a couple posts here to the Blog Flume.

A full write-up will follow here on the Flume, either later tonight or tomorrow (depending upon when I get back in LA).

Have a great day, and... Vegas, baby, Vegas!

A dear friend and I who would frequent the show often used to joke: "It's the annual event where people who work in the theme park industry come together and celebrate completing another year without having to get a real job."

November 18, 2009 at 10:54 AM · OK I will say I am completely jealous, I have tried to get into the Orlando one for a long time. I almost got in once with my old Boss, but at last minute plans fell through for me to get to go, but I'm willing to be anyones errand boy to get into it lol.

But if you attend all four days it is well worth it.

November 19, 2009 at 8:43 AM · Thank you TH, I was always under the impression it wasn't open to public even if it's costly to get in. Good to know, since I'm no longer in a company that would qualify as "amusement park" unless you call the id 10 T that call the outsource company I work for, it can be just as entertaining and frustrating as well :o) It's amazing how many people the world revovles around, who knew... lol
