March 22, 2010 at 10:59 AM · Carousel of Progress is an enjoyable enough ride, Tough to be a Bug is much more fun. The film is entertaining and the additional extras are really fun and slightly creepy. I did enjoy carousel of progress and appreciate it for what it is, but it isn't really the type of thing that I expect or entirely enjoy at a theme park
March 22, 2010 at 11:00 AM · The dated final scene almost knocks COP out of the running, but the rest of the show is good, and certainly good enough to win my vote over yet another 3D/4D movie. I really hope that last scene is modernized soon so COP could do even better.
March 22, 2010 at 11:01 AM · This is a tough one. I went the the bugs because the in theater effects are pretty cool, but the carousel of progress is timeless and also worthy of moving on.
March 22, 2010 at 11:05 AM · Ugh... you're killing me! Monday's are bad enough already without having to pick between so many favorites. I gotta go with the venerable standby that promises such a great, big, beautiful tomorrow!
March 22, 2010 at 11:09 AM · Carousel ... better air conditioning and more comfortable seats.
March 22, 2010 at 11:13 AM · Special effects & 4D make this show way more enttaining. Plus pretty funny & great for kids. Carousel of Progress is timeless but needs to be updated. But hpofully never replaced.
March 22, 2010 at 11:19 AM · Tough choice, love both but will go with a Walt Disney original.
March 22, 2010 at 11:47 AM · Everybody join in

There's a great big beautiful tomorrow...

March 22, 2010 at 11:50 AM · It'd be easier to vote for CoP if they switched back to the 80's song..."Now is the time, now is the best time, now is the best time of-your-life"

I don't care as much for, "There's a great, big, beautiful tomorrow...blah blah."

March 22, 2010 at 11:50 AM · Tough to be a Bug is great, but it can't beat the classic Carousel.
March 22, 2010 at 11:51 AM · It's Tough to Be a Bug is enjoyable, but this one's a no-brainer. COP is a Disney classic, even with the final scene being dated. I can't believe it's currently losing. Now is the time!
March 22, 2010 at 12:26 PM · Interesting how the comments are largely biased toward CoP, yet Bug is winning handily. Oh well, my bracket is about to be in shambles, just like my NCAA bracket!
March 22, 2010 at 12:41 PM · Went with Bug. I appreciate CoP, and it has a special place in the ole ticker, due to Walts participation in the attraction, but It's Tough to be a Bug is just a more complete experience. Gotta love that Hopper AA too.
March 22, 2010 at 6:25 PM · Really tough choice - both obtain the rank of perfection in my book.

After some deliberation, I went with "It's Tough to be a Bug". Although 3D shows are a dime-a-dozen anymore, this one stands tall. The jokes are fresh, the gags are memorable, the in-theater effects are the most enjoyable of all the 3D shows, and the finale is one of the perfect moments in theme park history: grubs, maggots, and cockroaches. Brilliant, one of the few attractions that outshines the source movie.

That's not to say there's much wrong with Carousel. I absolutely love that attraction, even though the final scene feels dated. Although I would like to see it updated, I fear they may butcher it.

Tough choice, but Bug takes it.

March 22, 2010 at 1:27 PM · Both really terrific attractions. The second best 3D film at Disney versus a true classic. I have to go with the Carousel on this one. A national treasure that should continually be updated and never be removed.
March 22, 2010 at 4:33 PM · No!!!!!!! Carousel lost!!! I hate the bug show...
March 22, 2010 at 4:55 PM · I didn't get to vote on this one, but it's one of the few where I've been on both attractions - on the left coast. DAK didn't exist when we were at WDW and CoP was closed. Nevertheless, I was always thrilled with CoP, especially with the second floor.
