March 25, 2010 at 8:40 AM · As I said in the first round: despite Tiki Room's age and simplicity, I always leave with a smile on my face. It is one of the simple pleasures at Disneyland and very underrated. It gets my vote, but American Adventure is also very good.
March 25, 2010 at 8:42 AM · American Adventure is the best Disney attraction.

I Respond: Can't be. No hippos.

March 25, 2010 at 8:51 AM · Argh! This was another tough one. I grew up with Tiki Room and as annoying as it is at times, it still has a special place in my heart. Yes it's very Non-PC with the "My siestas are getting CHORTER and CHORTER", but I have no problem with that... it's part of the show. It's almost like the Taco Bell Chihuahua speaking with a Australian Accent... it'd be weird!

But I had fun the one and only time I saw American Adventure. Technologically, I think it's better, and I feel that it puts on a more complete show... from what I remember.

March 25, 2010 at 8:52 AM · This is really hard!

I went with the Tiki Room because it was an underdog and I have many more memories of it. Plus, I am a sucker for anything personally made by Walt Himself.

March 25, 2010 at 10:25 AM · A close decision for me, but I had to go with the Tiki Room. The Disneyland version is just so charming and fun, with some of the best songs in any attraction. Too bad they ruined the one at WDW...
March 25, 2010 at 10:25 AM · American Adventure blew me away when I saw it. All aspects of the show were well done. I don't think the shows are even comparable but I understand why people are so fond of the Tiki Room.

T.H. Creative responds: Can't be. No hippos.

I respond: What about Taft?

Although I think Hall of Presidents should be here, the American Adventure is a better attraction than the Tiki Room. It might not be as personal, but it is grand and impressive.

March 25, 2010 at 10:40 AM · I voted Enchanted Tiki Room, I have only seen the Disney World version, but can imagine it without the tacky stuff. I really liked the immersive setting and the tropical feel.
March 25, 2010 at 11:57 AM · That song is ALWAYS in my head haha
March 25, 2010 at 12:10 PM · Tiki room has momentum and has taken the lead! Let's go Tiki Room!
March 25, 2010 at 1:10 PM · as a *HUGE* fan of both this contest pains me a bit,
but the while the Tiki Room was the introduction of Audio-Animatronic technology, the American Adventure *perfected* it.

So I'm going with the American Adventure. It's a much more satisfying show.

March 25, 2010 at 4:06 PM · I'll take the birds in this one although both are really good.
March 25, 2010 at 10:04 PM · It's a tiki-tiki-tiki-tiki room...
