February 27, 2012 at 11:31 AM · Both very good 4D shows, I had to go with PhilharMagic as I love all the Disney Characters. I also used to like Honey I Shrunk the Audience, so much better than stupid Captain EO.
February 27, 2012 at 11:33 AM · We're all voting for Tom Sawyer Island tomorrow, right guys?

Right?

Write?

Rite?

February 27, 2012 at 11:44 AM · Went with Philharmagic-I agree with Robert that Philharmagic is too much of a "greatest hits piece," but at least the songs are classics. Shrek does nothing for me.
February 27, 2012 at 11:55 AM · I voted Shrek, albeit not enthusiastically. Truth be told, I am rather meh on both shows. PhilharMagic is a greatest hits, and the 3D did not work in any way for me. The 3D in Shrek works for me (my eyes are weird) but damn those chairs are noisy!

Needless to say, whichever wins will not get my vote next round.

February 27, 2012 at 12:15 PM · I enjoyed Shrek, but after seeing it once or twice I never felt compelled to visit again. On the other hand, I love Philharmagic, it is one of my favorite Magic Kingdom attractions, and a "must do" on every visit. It gets my vote today, without hesitation.
February 27, 2012 at 12:24 PM · I love how the sign over the doors in "Mickey's PhilharMagic" says "Door Open Automagically Toward You"! I think they should use that phrase in EVERY Disney attraction!
February 27, 2012 at 12:57 PM · No contest. PhilharMagic is the best theme park 3D movie, bar none. Dazzling 3D/4D, and a charming and fun show.
Shrek 4D is worth checking out.

Tomorrow's vote will be an even more lopsided "contest"...

February 27, 2012 at 1:35 PM · Philharmagic is one of the few 3D movies that doesn't hurt my eyes/head, the expanding wide screen is subtly immersive, and you can get out of the Florida heat to listen to some great Disney music. It easily wins my vote.
February 27, 2012 at 1:46 PM · No contest. Shrek 4D is good for one viewing, but nothing stands out unlike PhilharMagic.
February 27, 2012 at 2:10 PM · After 3 visits to Shrek, 3 was enough. Philharmagic on the other hand has high re-watch ability.
February 27, 2012 at 2:58 PM · I'm gonna go with mickey ph illar magic because of all the clasics this is the best 3D show ever
February 27, 2012 at 8:12 PM · sorry to go off topic, but after voting for Phillarmagic I realzed how great oit would be if they could change out and add new songs from nee movies ala star tours two perhaps?
February 28, 2012 at 7:12 AM · I voted PhilharMagic. The whole torture chamber theme at Shrek seemed a bit heavy for young kids. Plus I love the smell-o-vision when it works. The apple pie wasn't working when I was there two weeks ago.
February 28, 2012 at 7:56 AM · The digital Disney Characters looked hartless and horrible to me. There is no way they translated good from hand drawn animation to 3D computer generated images. I would have love to see the show in 2D hand drawn. Also the wrap around screen messes op the 3D effect and makes me see double.
That, and the hysterical bouncing chairs, made me vote for Shrek. It´s in it´s original form and looks and sounds great!
February 28, 2012 at 8:27 AM · No contest here. PhilharMagic for sure.
February 28, 2012 at 9:08 AM · Totally not surprised Mickey's is running away with this. Wifey and I are so over Shrek. We haven't bothered with it in about 3 years. Love Universal, but Shrek and Twister should have gone before my beloved Jaws. :(
