So which one will it be?

Twilight Zone Tower of Terror - at Disney's Hollywood Studios

Tower of Terror

Jungle Cruise - at Disneyland, Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom and Tokyo Disneyland

Jungle Cruise

March 6, 2012 at 9:17 AM · Tower of Terror= Possibly the best overall ride in all of WDW!
March 6, 2012 at 9:18 AM · I know Jungle Cruise is going to get trounced here, but as a former JC skipper I have to vote for it.
March 6, 2012 at 9:19 AM · It's sad, but Jungle Cruise doesn't have a chance in this poll...maybe you'll get the point?
March 6, 2012 at 9:39 AM · I voted TOT, and I'm only judging by You Tube videos. Again, putting TOT and JC together wasn't a good move.
March 6, 2012 at 9:55 AM · I am a solid 2-9 so far in this round of the tournament. A vote for Tower of Terry makes this 3-9! Bracket busted.
March 6, 2012 at 9:58 AM · With apologies to TH ( The Undisputed Champion of all things Jungle Cruise ) I had to vote for The Tower.
It's a shame because the Cruise is so iconic but if one of these had to be closed on my visit then I'd rather it be JC even though I love it.
March 6, 2012 at 10:03 AM · As a former Skipper, my loyalties will always be strong with the Jungle. However, when I'm not getting paid to be on a ride vehicle, I'd much rather ride ToT more than Jungle. I love the JC, but I think it is well deserving of a technological upgrade. If we can add cool effects, better animatronics and somewhoh keep its charm, then it really might be able to compete.

Another factor is the lack of good skippering. The JC isn't as funny as it was, in part because they'll hire anyone and in part management has ruined the OG (script).

March 6, 2012 at 10:10 AM · I love them both, but the few inconsistent Skippers kind of ruined it for me. Had to go with ToT for the different experiences on both side of the country.
March 6, 2012 at 10:13 AM · Ugh. I hate myself for voting against Jungle Cruise.

I might have to throw up now.

I'll keep you updated.

March 6, 2012 at 10:13 AM · Maybe I'm just a sucker for a pun, but I hardly gave a second thought to this vote. Sure I love both attractions, especially WDW's Tower vs California's, but Jungle Cruise once again wins my vote on the basis of being a classic that has withstood the test of time. The quality does depend on the skipper so sometimes it can be spotty, but when you get the right skipper it can just be the best part of your day. This past Saturday we had a particularly good one and you couldn't wipe the smile off my face.
March 6, 2012 at 10:31 AM · I did have a moment where I wanted to vote for Jungle Cruise. My Mom was in no way, shape, or form an amusement park/ride person, but she LOVED the Jungle Cruise. So it's one of the few things I ever rode with her. But I had to go with TOT. Not only do I love the ride, but the Twilight Zone is my SECOND favorite TV show ever! Anyone wanna guess the first?
March 6, 2012 at 11:19 AM · I honestly don't care much for Jungle Cruise, most likely because I tend to get bad skippers more often than good ones. As others have said, it is the skipper who makes or breaks this ride. Tower of Terror, on the other hand, is one of the best drop rides out there and provides an excellent ride every time. Even though I've only been on the California version (which I've heard referred to as "Bad Tower" by some), that easily got my vote.
March 6, 2012 at 11:44 AM · Mike, I know it's The Walking Dead :P
March 6, 2012 at 12:13 PM · Good guess, Dom, but no. Walking Dead is my CURRENT favorite show, though...

My favorite show is even older than I am..and I'm 47.

March 6, 2012 at 1:40 PM · Poor, poor TH. Forced to see his beloved Cruise get crushed by a far superior attraction. I almost voted for the Cruise just for TH and for my love of REALLY awful comedy, but then I remembered how good Tower of Terror is. Tower of Terror for me.
March 6, 2012 at 1:51 PM · Can't say I've been on Jungle Cruise, but it really can't beat TOT. The queue at night is probably the best queue at Disney, no questions asked. It establishes a creepy atmosphere far better than Haunted Mansion ever could. The tree canopy and antique lighting make for a incredibly creepy experience. Add in the interior scenes and the queue alone makes TOT a must see.

The ride was pretty great too. But the queue is a highlight.

March 6, 2012 at 2:13 PM · The Little Rascals?
March 6, 2012 at 2:48 PM · Ummm...no.

I'll send you a PM with the correct answer, rather than waste the reading time of our fellow TPI folks.

March 6, 2012 at 4:29 PM · Puh-lease!!! Tower of Terror without question or debate. Easy choice.

Mike, how 'bout Babylon 5, Firefly, Outer Limits, Lost, or MASH? If so, Niles and Creative may fall to fourth and fifth on my list of man crushes (J. Depp and N. Fillion are holding strong at #1 and #2, respectively).

March 6, 2012 at 5:12 PM · It took a while, but I just threw up.
March 6, 2012 at 5:38 PM · ^You must have just noticed that One Man's Dream is losing to a Harry Potter expansion placeholder. It makes me sick too.
March 6, 2012 at 5:48 PM · As a former Jungle Cruise skipper, this is like comparing a live concert by The Beatles with an 8-track of The Archies. In addition to the amazing visuals of the Jungle, the attraction enlists the comedic talents of sharp-witted cast members whose timing is constantly being honed to perfection. We even had a frat of the best JC skippers - 'Phi Laffa Lotta' - and would trade material to make our spiels better. We made a connection with our crews and they loved us.

And what does ToT offer? A bunch of lab monkeys in bellboy jackets who press buttons and wait for the machine to deliver a banana-flavored food pellet.

March 6, 2012 at 6:22 PM · @Skipper Adam, the jokes were already horrible to begin with, and then they kept altering the OG jokes even further to make them even more PC. The attacking natives never lost the keys to the mens room, and Inspiration Falls doesn't inspire the most sensible adventurer to have to go to the bathroom, just to name a couple examples of recent changes. HOWEVER, most skippers (at least the good ones) never go OG (like myself) were able to keep a boatload of constant laughter.

As far as having Jungle go against ToT, why? Poor Jungle, we hardly knew ye.

March 6, 2012 at 6:46 PM · My vote is going for tower of terror because is the best drop ride ever and it has one of the best themes
March 6, 2012 at 8:05 PM · Jungle cruise is the best!!!!!!!
March 6, 2012 at 9:07 PM · I don't ever remember loving my Cruise Skipper, anonymous poster who sounds like TH Creative, but I do remember wishing he would just hurry up and get back to the dock so I could go ride something fun.

I look forward with anticipation to the day Adventureland is completely re-themed and the Jungle Snooze is replaced with an Indiana Jones coaster, Pirates returns to its DLR roots, the Treehouse is replaced with an explorable, interactive version of the Black Pearl, and the Magic Carpets ride becomes a beautiful fountain. Then I will have a reason to visit that section of the park besides Dole Whips and Egg rolls.

March 7, 2012 at 12:44 PM · I've always had a soft spot for ye ol' Jungle Cruise. But DHS's Tower is my favorite ride in all of Orlando. So no contest.
March 7, 2012 at 2:14 AM · Anonymous poster was not me.
March 7, 2012 at 4:26 AM · @TH Welcome back, brother! I have missed you the last few days. I am beginning to see you in every pro-Jungle Cruise comment!

Be here later today when we vote for or against the removal of the Sorcerer's Hat at DHS! ;)

March 7, 2012 at 7:41 AM · Tower of Terror is the best ride in any and all parks. Period
March 7, 2012 at 8:23 AM · I haven't been on the TOT in Orlando. I've been on the one in DCA and, although the queue was pretty awesome (I know, I know, not as much as Orlando), the ride gave me a headache. I went with Jungle Cruise because I like it and it doesn't give me a headache.
