March 16, 2012 at 5:50 AM · I never have seen waterworld but on video it looks amazing, tells an action packed story and doesn´t stop until the end.
Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular was fun the first time but is now a sure miss everytime I visit the Disney Studios. The waiting between the action is taking forever and bores me to death. I would love to see that show get the axe and be replaced by something with a cohesive story and lots of spectacle.
March 16, 2012 at 5:51 AM · I have seen both and Waterworld is the winner for me! They do some sweet tricks on jet skis and lots of pyrotechnic effects. I live in Florida so I have seen Idiana Jones way more times and it just does'nt do much for me anymore.
March 16, 2012 at 6:09 AM · I'm sure Indy will win for several reasons.
1. More people have probably seen it.
2. It's based one Indiana Jones.
3. The other one is based on Waterworld.

However, Waterworld is a much better show.

March 16, 2012 at 6:28 AM · Indiana Jones is a great show, but I've heard Waterworld is one of the best, so my vote goes there.
March 16, 2012 at 6:33 AM · Seriously? Waterworld!
March 16, 2012 at 6:34 AM · Waterworld for sure. I love how Universal can turn a critically panned movie into a successful stunt show.
March 16, 2012 at 6:37 AM · Indiana Jones gets my pick by default, because I've seen that live. Never seen Waterworld...Plus it's Indiana, how can you go against that!
March 16, 2012 at 7:05 AM · Also Robert, do we get two votes in one day? You said the Forbidden Journey and Toystory would be on "Friday"...Did you mean Monday?
March 16, 2012 at 7:06 AM · Waterworld. Somehow they took a flop of a movie and made it a great stunt show, while Disney took a fantastic series of movies and made them into a tedious, sometimes cheesy stunt show.
March 16, 2012 at 7:14 AM · My bad on the Harry Potter vote. That is Monday. Fixed it.
March 16, 2012 at 7:15 AM · +1 on Tyler's comment. If Waterworld played in Orlando, it'd be winning in a walk. Come on out to Southern California, people!
March 16, 2012 at 7:19 AM · Easiest vote I've had to make so far. Waterworld is the benchmark for stunt shows. Well designed attractions like Waterworld never seem to look tired or dated. It's well choreographed, well acted and well produced. It's exciting from start to finish and what a great finish that is.
Indiana Jones, on the other hand, does look a little tired and worn. It's one of my favourite film franchises but the stunt show is looking less spectacular each time I see it. Which is both sad and unnecessary. A bit of TLC and some changes here and there and it could be one to really entertain new generations. As it is it's not a patch on Waterworld.
March 16, 2012 at 8:13 AM · Every time that I am at Disney's Hollywood Studios, I watch the Indiana Jones show. It might need some updating, but it is a very entertaining show. Anything that has to do with Indy gets my vote.
March 16, 2012 at 8:22 AM · Voted for Indy, I think only cause I have not seen Waterworld. I think if I had seen it, my vote would have went to Waterworld.
March 16, 2012 at 8:36 AM · I voted Waterworld, even though I haven't seen it. IJ bored me to tears and I would of rather went on Star Tours next door with walk on waits.
March 16, 2012 at 9:30 AM · On Robert and Tylers point about Orlando attractions

How many of Tower of Terror's votes came from it's other incarnations.

March 16, 2012 at 9:32 AM · I can agree that Waterworld has no chance in this one just because most people haven't seen it. Sad as it's the gold standard for live stunt shows. And I agree that it's amazing how Universal managed to take a terrible movie and create a fantastic show, while Disney took an amazing franchise and made a slow paced lackluster show.

I can compare it to how Monsters Inc. and Pooh Bear are phenomenal in Japan, yet I'm sure most people would vote against them if either one were matched up with Peter Pan as most people haven't been on the Japanese attractions.

March 16, 2012 at 9:35 AM · A couple voted for DCA if you look in comments.
March 16, 2012 at 10:13 AM · waterworld should win just based on the plane alone. Its audacious to hurl a large untethered scenic object in the direction of a live audience and adjacent to many live performers. Just another in the big list of amazing tech things Universal does that Disney could never pull off in a hundred years.
March 16, 2012 at 11:05 AM · I voted for Waterworld just because it HAS to be better than that tired, old Indy Show at DHS.
March 16, 2012 at 11:24 AM · Is it wrong to vote for a show just because you like the movie better? I've not seen either, so have no other basis to go on! :P
March 16, 2012 at 12:17 PM · Mark, I felt the same way. I thought Waterworld was okay, better than it was made out to be but far from classic. I've always considered Raiders of the Lost Ark (or, as Mad Magazine called it, Raiders of a Lost Art) to be quite overrated. I liked the first two sequels better. But I voted for Waterworld just based on others' comments here..I think I'd enjoy it more.

Now where's my Walking Dead Zombie Jamboree Stunt Spectacular?

March 16, 2012 at 4:15 PM · @robert niles

Next can their be a bracket for "worst theme park attraction"

Of course Drew Carey's Sounds Dangerous already had a lifetime acheivement award in this group.

But Stiche's Great Escape, Narnia at DHS, Mystic Fountain at IOA, Twister at USF, Sinbad Stunt Show at IOA, Turtle Point at SW Orlando would be some of my first gut reactions.

And of course worst theme park land Commisary Land at DHS.

March 16, 2012 at 5:45 PM · I haven't seen Indiana Jones, but when you're comparing it to Waterworld, which has (among other things): water, fire, pyrotechnics, jetskis, boats, a seaplane (yes, it actually flies unconnected to a cable and crashes into the water), standard fistfight stuff, guns, aerial stunts, explosions, fifteen minutes of non-stop action, a four-story fire dive, and one of the most entertaining preshows ever...yeah, even if I had seen Indiana Jones, I think I'd still vote Waterworld.
March 16, 2012 at 8:08 PM · Robert Morris, Narnia is closed and Sounds Dangerous is about to close FYI :P
March 16, 2012 at 11:58 PM · Indy has only the slightest edge over Waterworld for me. Both pretty similar, entertaining live spectacles.
Too bad one of my fave rides, TSMM, is doomed Monday.
March 17, 2012 at 1:25 AM · I also voted for Indy by default, as I haven't seen the Waterworld show live. I have seen a YouTube video, and I have to say it looks pretty awesome. The ending is worth the wait, and the cast does seem to have fun with it all.

I can't help but wonder how long it takes to reset for the next show. That thing is huge!!!

March 17, 2012 at 2:30 AM · Ah! A vote where I've actually been/seen both!

I enjoyed Indiana Jones but the only categories in which it trumps Waterworld, imho, are seating and source material.

March 19, 2012 at 2:23 PM · Biggest upset ever
Wow I'm stunned
