You can read the first of our (more or less) weekly theme park columns for the Register here: How Southern California theme parks like Disneyland cater to theme park junkies.
For those who might not know, I started my journalism career in newspapers, launching the site that became Theme Park Insider on my own time while I was working as the website editor for the Rocky Mountain News in Denver. From there, the Los Angeles Times brought me back to my native LA, where I worked on the LAT website and wrote for the paper until I left in 2004. The Register's editor, Rob Curley, was another in that relatively small group of newspaper website editors back then (not to mention being perhaps the biggest Disneyland fan on the planet), so I'm happy to be working with him now as a contributing columnist to the Register.
Rob and his team at the Register have some amazing projects in the works to cover Disneyland and Knott's Berry Farm (both located in Orange County), and I'll be linking to them here as those come online. Until then, I hope that you will be following us over at the Register as well as everywhere else Theme Park Insider publishes!
