Michael Myers returns for Universal's Halloween Horror Nights

July 7, 2016, 11:19 AM · Horror icon Michael Myers is returning to Universal's Halloween Horror Nights this fall, in a new maze inspired by the second movie in the Halloween series, 1981's Halloween II.

"Halloween: Hell Comes to Haddonfield" will open at both U.S. versions of Halloween Horror Nights this September, in Orlando and Hollywood. From the park's press release: "It will begin with the final scene from 'Halloween,' where Michael Myers is presumed dead after falling from a bedroom window – only to disappear from the ground. Guests will dodge Myers’ lethal knife at every turn as they step into iconic scenes from the film – all culminating in a horrifying finale."

Here's the teaser video:

Halloween joins The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, The Exorcist and The Walking Dead as the announced horror franchises for this year's Halloween Horror Nights, which starts Sept. 16 at Universal Studios Florida in Orlando. Dates have yet to be announced for the event at Universal Studios Hollywood.
