Who serves the best theme park pizza in Orlando?
So today is National Pizza Day today, for reasons that escape me. But hey, it's pizza, so let's play along. I want to know what Theme Park Insiders consider the best theme park pizza in Orlando, so let's celebrate the day by putting that to a vote.
I initially offered a Google Form with 14 options from theme park and shopping district restaurants from Disney World, Universal, and SeaWorld that offered pizza as their primary focus. (So no places that just have a mini pizza on the kids' menu, or that slip a few pies onto a menu the size of a college textbook.)
From the initial vote, three restaurants garnered nearly 90 percent of the vote, so I decided to cut the field to those three for a final vote. If you voted before, we are starting from scratch here, so you can vote again (but only once, please).
In the comments, we'd love to hear more about your favorite theme park pizza... even if it's from outside Orlando.
I admit, not had all the choices but always had an affinity for PizzaRizzo since it was Pizza Planet so my choice.
Not Orlando but Knoebel's has the best theme park pizza I have ever had, Second best would be Europa.
LaRosa's at Kings Island. Via Napoli and Red Oven are both Great Pizza.
No question: the Azzurra di Capri at Universal Studies Japan. Beats Italy at Epcot, and in my experience, the actual Italy as well. I wonder if it's the water.
Hot and fresh personal pizza's at Great American Pizza Co.
