Which Chris Pratt is Best Chris Pratt?

July 5, 2019, 2:28 PM · Now that Jurassic World is open at Universal Studios Hollywood, it's time to pass judgment on the element that unifies this refurbished attraction with new(ish) attractions at Disney and Legoland.

Which Chris Pratt character is Best Chris Pratt?

Pratt stars as Owen Grady in Universal's Jurassic World ride, which replaced the Pratt-less Jurassic Park - The Ride. But the actor also stars as Peter Quill/Star-Lord in Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout at Disney California Adventure.

And Pratt also originated the role of Emmet Brickowski in The Lego Movie franchise, which provides the theme for Legoland Florida's The Lego Movie World, though Pratt did not reprise his role as Brickowski for that project. (Which probably tells us something about the relative budget and spending priorities over at Legoland.)

But none of these are where the public first got to know Pratt — that was as Andy Dwyer in the NBC sitcom Parks and Recreation, which remains an online streaming favorite.

We teased the idea of just combining all these franchises and attractions into one Chris Pratt-themed park in our post, "Let's imagine Hollywood's ultimate star-driven theme park resort" (which remains one of my favorite posts of all time on this site, BTW). But unless we get yet another round of entertainment industry mergers and acquisitions, that ain't happening.

So Chris Pratt and his characters will remain inescapable for many theme park fans, inhabiting three parks now... and counting. (Coming soon to Epcot and Universal's Islands of Adventure.) But which Pratt character is your favorite?

Ah. If only we could get a Michael Keaton PARK. It'd be tied to both Marvel, via his Vulture character in Homecoming, and DC, via Batman. Throw in Beetlejuice and a McDonalds for good measure.

And he's had involvement in the Minions, Robocop, Toy Story, Cars, and The Simpsons.

I vote for a Michael Keaton theme park.

That’s a good idea Gabriel!

Although if Domhnall Gleeson & Warwick Davis appear in a Marvel movie, they’d be awful close to a theme park franchise award, lol. They’ve already have appeared in both the Star Wars and Harry Potter franchises!

The only one who could get in their way is if Samuel L. Jackson makes an appearance in a Fantastic Beast film....then its game over! He already has Star Wars, marvel, and the Jurassic franchise under his belt. Then There’s The Rock making his movie into DC territory....

Right now Chris Pratt is my favorite all time actor. I recently discovered his Andy Dryer on Parks and Rec reruns, and I laugh every time he is on screen. I was already a fan of Peter Quill. I absolutely loved his speech at the Kids’ Choice awards a couple of years ago. If you haven’t heard it, Google it. It is both inspiring and entertaining.

And now Pratt is getting to voice a Disney/Pixar character in “Onward”. I’m so pumped for 2020!

@TwoBits, yeah! That speech was really good!

I love Chris Pratt, but I think he kind of phoned in his Jurassic World performance here. Guess it's Star-Lord for the theme park matchup, despite Emmet being my favorite role of his.

"... where the public first got to know Pratt — that was as Andy Dwyer in the NBC sitcom Parks and Recreation". NOPE! The public FIRST got to know Chris Pratt as Bright Abbott on "Everwood". Not a theme park-worthy part - but THAT'S where we first got to know Chris Pratt.
