Just weeks after confirming that its long-rumored Mission Ferrari roller coaster would open this year, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi is teasing something that's coming to the racing-themed park.

Is this our first look at the Mission Ferrari car? Who knows?
Some context: As some of you might know from reading the site for a while, I'm a huge IndyCar and open-wheel racing fan, in addition to being a fan of theme parks. Ferrari is a Formula 1 team, not IndyCar (well, except for that one time...), but this is time of year when many F1 and IndyCar teams tease their upcoming livery reveals for the 2020 season.
So consider this Ferrari World Abu Dhabi's livery-reveal tease. Now Mission Ferrari isn't the only thing coming to the Yas Island theme park. With a 10-year extension on its Ferrari theming in place, the park also is adding a new Family Zone as well as a zip line attraction and a "walking experience" across Ferrari World's iconic red roof.
But it's easy to look at that photo from the park and imagine that F1-looking engine air intake as a theming element above a couple of coaster seats, isn't it?
And that's the fun of the tease. It's not enough to provide any answers, but it inspires a lot of really fun questions. Stayed tuned for more news about Mission Ferrari and the expansion at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi.
