Six Flags Introduces Mobile Food Ordering

June 18, 2020, 11:10 AM · Six Flags is showing off its new mobile food ordering feature on its official app. It's one of the many changes coming to the amusement park chain as it begins reopening across the country.

You can get a quick overview of how to use the new mobile order function in this video:

"Social distancing is a key component of our operations. By utilizing Mobile Food Ordering, guests will spend significantly less time in food lines and more time enjoying their visit. More than 75% of our dining locations now offer this option, with more being added daily," Senior Vice President of In-Park Services Bonnie Sherman Weber said. "We are thrilled to offer our guests the convenience of ordering their favorite theme park foods right from the palm of their hands."

All Season Dining Pass offers will be available with mobile ordering, and Six Flags' Membership discounts will be applied automatically at checkout.

Six Flags' parks also will be requiring advance reservations to visit, as well as supporting new health and safety rules and procedures inside the parks.

The pandemic is at least forcing more companies to speed development and deployment of services like this that - I think - a lot fans have been wanting for some time.

Well, that's a dandy idea. After several unsuccessful attempts I finally managed to install the Six Flags app and if I can figure out how to add my dining pass I'll be good to go. That will be an improvement over queueing at Yum Yum Cafe.

About time, it's been shown on their app for over a year with no functionality, and can't even remember how far back they sent me a survey about it.
