Iowa's Lost Island plans first RMC Wild Moose coaster
Iowa's Lost Island theme park will be the home for RMC's first Wild Moose coaster.
Forbidden Lair will be the first RMC coaster to go backward, as the 910-foot-long, 79-foot-tall design follows the ride path of recent Vekoma Family Boomerangs. Riders will pull backward out of the station and up a lift spike, before falling back into and through the station on the way to a second spike, which will return them backwards to the station.
The coaster will reach a top speed of 38 mph. Here is the official concept POV video from the park.
Forbidden Lair will open next year and be the parks' second family coaster and fifth overall.
