Six Flags reveals 2026 Halloween event details
Six Flags today announced the dates and line-ups for its Halloween haunt events across the country.
The company again is leaning into IP-driven haunted mazes, with 11 new haunts inspired by Diablo, Jason, Final Destination, and The Blair Witch Project.
"We're taking Halloween to an entirely new level in 2026," Six Flags Director of Entertainment Kelly Daugherty said. "With legendary horror franchises, immersive haunted attractions, expanded scare zones, live entertainment and nighttime ride experiences, we're delivering our most intense and most complete Halloween lineup ever. Guests won't just watch these stories unfold—they'll step inside them."
Note that Knott's Scary Farm is not included in today's announcement. Knott's will reveal its final two mazes for this year's event at an in-park event tomorrow evening. Unlike Six Flags' other haunt events Knott's Scary Farm is a separately-ticketed, after-hours event.
The new IP haunted mazes at Six Flags' Halloween events this year will be:
- Blair Witch: No Signal at Six Flags Great America and Dorney Park
- Diablo: The Infernal Path at Kings Dominion and Cedar Point
- Final Destination: Death's Playground at Six Flags Great Adventure and Six Flags Magic Mountain
- Jason: Blood Reign at Carowinds, Kings Island, and Six Flags Great Adventure
Returning IP mazes include:
- The Conjuring: Beyond Fear at Canada's Wonderland, Carowinds, Cedar Point, and Kings Island
- The Conjuring Universe at Six Flags Magic Mountain, Six Flags Great Adventure, Six Flags Over Texas, Six Flags Fiesta Texas, Six Flags Great America, and Six Flags Over Georgia
- Saw: Legacy of Terror at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, Six Flags Great America, Six Flags Over Georgia, and Six Flags Over Texas
- The Strangers: No Escape at Six Flags Over Texas
- Trick ‘r Treat at Six Flags Magic Mountain
- Army of the Dead at Six Flags Great Adventure
Fans can access the mazes, save for The Conjuring: Beyond Fear, with a Haunted Attractions Pass, All Season Haunted Attractions Pass, or Haunted Attractions Express Pass (for priority access). Access to The Conjuring: Beyond Fear via a separate, single entry pass. These all are in addition to park admission.
Here are the start and end dates for this year's events, which will run on select evenings:
- Cedar Point HalloWeekends: September 17 through Nov. 1, with a Scream Peek Weekend on September 10–13
- Kings Dominion Halloween Haunt: September 18 through November 1
- Kings Island Halloween Haunt: September 25 through October 31
- Six Flags Great Adventure Fright Fest: September 18 through November 1
- Six Flags Great America Fright Fest: September 19 through November 1
- Six Flags Magic Mountain Fright Fest: September 18 through November 1
- Six Flags Over Georgia Fright Fest: September 12 through November 1
- Six Flags Over Texas Fright Fest: September 11 through November 1
- Six Flags Fiesta Texas Fright Fest: September 11 through November 1
- SCarowinds: September 11 through November 1

Russell, Viper is the Arrow Looper, right? My mind at first went to the woodie coaster in the park, until I realized I was mixing it up with the Viper coaster at Great America in Gurnee.
I've only been to Magic Mountain once a few years back, and don't remember Viper being that bad, especially compared to Apocalypse. But I've heard enough bad things over the years that maybe I just caught it on a good day.
Viper was the actual roller coaster featured in Final Destination 3, so I guess my quip was lost if you didn't know that.
@Russell The coaster featured in Final Destination 3 is the Vekoma Corkscrew which was at Playland Amusement Park in Vancouver.
I actually didn't know that. I stopped at the second movie but then watched the most recent one, which was fine. How many movies have been filmed at MM?
I stand corrected Brad L. Thanks for that - a massive Mandela Effect blind spot in my coaster knowledge that I should have confirmed.
