Knott's Berry Farm: Is this a good idea?

Our Family will be visiting California the first week of April. Any experts out there have any advice for the best days of the week? I assume Tues-Thurs are the best, but we are thinking about Sunday because of our other plans. Is this vacation suicide?
Knott's is never that busy this that time of year, so you shouldn't have to worry too much. Aside from that the other factor is weather. Roller coasters are h**** in the rain.
Disneyland is the key (assuming you are going there). It's the only park with significant crowds. So plan your trip to be at Disneyland during a school day, and you'll be fine. You can visit any other park at any time. (With the exceptions, of course, of Legoland, which is closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays during the school year, and Magic Mountain, which is closed weekdays during the winter.)
