Anyone rode the FOF since it re-opened, is it still as fun as it used to be? Has anything changed?

I don't know what Paramount was thinking when they closed it down at the beginning of this season. FOF is arguably the second best coaster that that park has to offer. Third if you factor in Hypersonice. I'm glad to see that it's back open and hopefully nothing like this will happen again. I know that it is a copy coaster, but it's only 1 of 2 that are indoors. Also, with it already being indoors, Cedar Fair, LP can have a lot of fun with it when they retheme it.

Ya know, King's Dominion's FOF actually opened before PKI's...so in fact, that makes PKI's the clone. This is also listed wrong on Wikipedia.

Thanks for correcting me. Good to know that KD got something before they copied it to another park. Either way, there are 3 copies of this ride on the east coast along (I think 9 total if I remember correctly). The three are, FoF at KD, FoF at KI, and Jokers Jinx at SFA in MD. It's an awesome enclosed ride, the Joker Jinx version isn't enclosed and isn't nearly as much fun.

Dustin, don't forget Poltergeist at SFFT. :) I'm sorry to you guys for going overboard with my announcement, I just couldn't help myself, I was overcome with overjoyment. lol. It sounded good at the time I wrote it, lolol. But now I can see it may've been a bit overboardish. ;) Sorry about that.

Has anyone rode the FOF lately? Is it still the same or did they change it some?

Hey guys I'm going to PKD on sunday instead of carowinds, I heard Carowinds just sucked compared to PKD so I decided against carowinds, Was wondering whats it like on sundays this time of year, how much is it to park this year? Are the lines long? thanks

It's nothing too horrible, but you'll have waits. Make sure you get there early and hit Volcano and Hypersonic first. My suggestion, first thing you should do is Volcano, then walk right over to FoF. While FoF usually doesn't have too long of a line, it is indoors so as it gets warmer out, the line will get longer. As for Hypersonic, just keep and eye on that line throughout the day. I've found that that line flucuates and I have had only a 15 minutes wait around noon. Hope you have a great time!
