DarkRide? SFMM? Knott's ?

Knott's Berry Farm: Both parks are on the down sloop, so a cool ride that no one around has would be great. Like an updated Haunted Mansion, only scarier for us big kids.

I've heard that either SFMM or Knott's of Buena Park is building an old school/high tech Dark Ride? This would be awesome at SFMM as an oppurtunity to beat the heat. Also it would great to liven things up at night, and especilly on Halloween. SFMM sucks at Halloween.

The word is Knott's will be building this 'Dark Ride' after their new roller coaster. It is set to debut Halloween 2008. The area of the park that use to be home to the dinosaur ride may be the location. The ride will be unlike old fashioned 'Dark Rides' which send you down the same track to meet the same terrors. Multiple track routes with live actors to provide various, unpredictable scares. The ride may also include a top-notch walk-through haunted house to train Halloween Haunt staff, and to test out fresh ideas. Knott's is a solid outdoor-ride park. This indoor, air conditioned addition should liven the park up at night, especially for the teenagers who are bored with their small collection of short rollercoaster.
