OK, I bought my season pass last year during Fright Fest, because it was an ubelieveably good deal. $45!!! Not $75 like it is now.
I was told that it came with:
- 15% discount to the food stands
- 15% discount to the souvenier(sp?) stands
- 6 free admission tickets for friends
- Coupons to local businesses
- 2 free Concert tickets
- Coupons for games inside the park
- Admission to other Six Flags properties.
- Discounts on Flash Passes
- Free admission to Fright Fest
Now here it is the 2008 season.
I do not get a discount anywhere despite one still being advertised in the park, I can only go to Six Flags name parks on the reciprocation program, and I no longer get discounts at local businesses nor do I get any coupons for said businesses around the park.
So, I ask you waht has your local park done to reduce the interest in a season pass? I regret once again buying the pass. My only reason for buying it was interest in the new Evil Kneivel Coaster.
(Sometime this month I intend to post an update on construction progress, including photos.)
Well we got the Dark Knight coaster (more to come later) and got free line jumping passes for it the first day its open (May 21st??) if you got it during Fright Fest. I didn't, but really didn't care. I know I get the free tickets for friends and a coupon book, but thats about all they promised. I guess my Six Flags (Great America) seems a little more forward with what you get. Still, $75 is not a bad deal. Thats about 1.5 times the amount of a regular pass so if you go twice, it was worth it. So, again, here our my perks
Coupons
Free Tickets (6 and a few in the books)
Other Six Flags Parks
Frightfest
Parking ($60 extra)
Not too bad, but thats what I was expecting
My home park is Six Flags America. You buy a regular day for $49.99 plus tax & they give you a season pass! Can't really beat that. And you get to use it at any of the other parks. I'm planning to hit up Six Flags Great Adventure soon to try out the new Batman coaster.
