This would really depend on WHEN you are going, but also ask yourself if you are a thrill seeker or a relaxer.
Wet'N'Wild has more "Rides'n'Slides", less of a chill park, Aquatica, although having a lot of rides if a more relaxing park.
If you are going in the summer I strongly advise NOT going to W'N'W, the summer cliental is not the best and you may find that you get stressed out if your patience isn't on top form. Due to its location there are a lot of walk in guests and teen kids without supervision.
Aquatica is located futher away, so less of the walk ins as a bus or car trip is required, but if you choose Aquatica in the summer expect a long delay getting out, I'm driven past many times at closing and there is Police help just getting out and through the lights at the I-Drive/528 intersection. Not good!
Either way, enjoy!

Thank you Gareth H for you response !
I'm going to Orlando this october with 2 children (7 and 16 years)
Personnally, I like thrill rides (but not too scary..) and I like relaxing also.
It's the first time we go to a water park. And I just want to have fun for all of us.
What do you recommand me then ?
I am going with Aquatica, but Gareth is correct.

I haven't been to Aquatica yet, I've seen the queues. I'll let the hype die and go in Fall when theres less change of getting 3rd degree burns in the queues and won't spend an hour getting on the 528.
Wet'N'Wild is great, outside of the summer, although the late nights can be fun, swimming in the dark with less people.
You can't go wrong either way.
I'm getting bored of Wet 'N Wild. I haven't been to Aquatica yet, but I will be visiting it soon.
We went to Aquatica in May and we had a great time. Nice park with many rides/slides.
They have a nice eating option where you can eat all day for one price. The river rapids were fun and fast… We will go back someday. We hit every ride and liked them all.
Plus later in the day when about half the folks had already left we went back on the rides we liked the best with little or no wait. We left after the park closed and did not have a problem getting out of the lot. We also used the self serve kiosk for tickets which saved about 15 minutes in line….
I do like Typhoon Lagoon as another option…
I haven't been to Aquatica yet, not for another four weeks anyway! But we went to Wet'n'Wild for the first time in a while last Summer.
I actually really hated it.
It has become very dated. The ride queues were extensive and I didn't really enjoy anything that much. I'm not really one for the super high/almost vertical rides (wedgie makers), so didn't try them. I am more of a raft ride person, but I really didn't think much of disco H20 or brainwash, or anything really. It was also really really noisy and there was nowhere quiet enough to relax.
I look forward to trying out Aquatica though.
