Anyone have Tips for an October Visit?
Cedar Point: Request for tips for visiting Cedar Point in October.
We plan to visit Cedar Point on Friday, October 10 and Saturday, October 11. Can we expect crowds? Will we need the extra hour an on-sight hotel offers? Any advice on the order to approach the rides in an effort to minimize waiting? Since the park doesn't open until 6 on Friday what activities/sights do you recommend in the area? Should we expect any traffic driving from Akron to Cedar Point? Thanks!

extra hour?...yes
ride strategy? There is none during Halloween. It's busy
Things to do in town? Downtown on the water has some shops, bars, and small places to eat. You could go to Famous Dave's at the marina. The Sandusky Mall isn't too far away. There are three indoor waterparks as well. It will probably be too cold for a boat ride, so I would avoid that. You shouldn't have any trouble with traffic.
