Best day to go to a theme park
Six Flags New England: Should i go to SFNE on opening day?
What is the better day to go to a theme park? Opening day or a week or two after?
BTW it's Six Flags New England....
it opens on April 10 a friday or should i wait for April 26? What time do you think the lines will be the least? And would all the rides be up and running opening day?
......and i know it's a long way until then.....
well, for theme parks in general, but more specifically SFA (six flags america, my home park). Well, a few reasons:
1. Probably way less crowds.
2. If they are both fridays, then the later weeks might be open an extra hour.
3. Better and a little bit warmer weather later.
26 of April is a sunday.
so you're saying all of the rides will be open on opening day.
Well, probably most, but yeah, probably not all. I forgot to say the most important thing; go on a later friday
I know it's not the same time but I went in August, it was on a Monday & it was fine but if you only have a Friday, then you might wanna wait til after opening day. Sometimes parks can be a little crowded opening day but then again, we went to BGE & PKD in March a few yrs ago & PKD wasn't real crowded but BGE was but that was on a Sunday (went to PKD the day before on Sat. although it really wasn't crowded at that time, maybe we just got lucky but that's what it was). Whatever you decide, good luck w/it & have a great time!
Go on openning day, but if there are lots of people, get flash pass. That way, you can be the first to ride the "new" S: ROS and probably be able to ride all of the rides!

Adrienne, just so you know, or if it's just out of habit, PKD isn't owned by Paramount anymore, so Cedar fair just dropped that name (of course), so it's just KD
