Knott's Berry Farm: My trip to SFMM/Knott's updates!

Tomorrow is when I will official be leaving for a trip to Southern California for my second trip to Knott's and first ever trip to Six Flags Magic Mountain. The hotel has internet, so I will be giving updates of the parks, mostly Knott's, but will not be able to upload pictures until I get back. Any last minute tips about the parks would be nice, but I am pretty well prepared for the trip with Flex Passes to Knotts and Soak City, as well as Gold Flash Passes for Magic Mountain. So stay tuned each night, though depending on the conditions (I am staying with a friend tomorrow and the next day), I might not be able to udate until Thursday. Either way, stay tuned for many in depth updates of each day at Knott's and the day at Six Flags Magic Mountain!

So, I have no idea if I will be able to post any updates tonight or tomorrow night, but right now it is 6 in the morning where I am, and at around 12, I should be in the air, flying over to California. From there, the rest of today is the beach, but tomorrow I go to Six Flags Magic Mountain for the first time! If I can't get any updates out tonight or tomorrow, I should get a big update on Thursday when I know I will have access to the internet!

DAY 1- ARRIVAL/REDONDO BEACH

Today I woke up at 5 in the morning, so excited to finally get some roller coasters other than the small ones at my home town park, Lagoon. After lots of over packing (happens every time!) we left for the Salt Lake International Airport at 9. There were no lines for anything throughout the airport, due to it being a Tuesday today, which was great! We headed for our Southwest terminal, and once we settled into some seats, we found something to eat, and then boarded the plane.

After a 2 hour plane ride to LAX, we were picked up by my mom's friend to go and stay at her house for tonight. Her house by the way is a 10 minute walk from Redondo Beach. Once we got everything worked out as far as luggage goes, we did something most people would love... we went for the beach. Now, I hate the beach (what with the seaweed, etc.) But going to the beach meant a nicer mom and sister when we go to Six Flags and Knotts, something that they somehow dislike! So I sat through 2 hours of beach, and then we finally left, so I could hurry and come back so that I could write this update! Now, I am about to have hamburgers and fries before I go to sleep early to get up early for Six Flags Magic Mountain tomorrow!

HOW ARE YOU GOING TO GO TO SLEEP?! If I knew SFMM was the day ahead of me, I would get no sleep AT ALL and probably be vibrating so much the next morning that I couldn't put the spoon from my cereal to my mouth! ... I wanna go so bad!!!! Still, I hope you have fun, and make a new link or post for your trip report!
