Hong Kong Disneyland: Mystic Manor at Hong Kong Disneyland looks like its shaping up to be one of the most amazing Dark rides ever built, on par with the best such as Indiana Jones and Spiderman.

International parks don't seem to get a whole lot of love on this board, seeing as most of us including myself rarely venture to theme parks outside the United States. But for those of you whose radar is down on the International Disney parks, some
concept art for the new Mystic Manor dark ride at Hong Kong Disneyland. This ride seems like its going far beyond the Haunted Mansion by which its inspired. Personally, I think the show scenes look incredible and that the concept art is beautiful. Take a look if you interested, also included is the new Grizzly Mountain Coaster, which is clearly inspired by Big Thunder Mountain with a good deal of Everest and the unbuilt Western River Expedition thrown in.
Wow! That sounds like it is going to be something to see. I wish they could do something along those lines at DHS. They could take that concept and use it with Indiana Jones. Tear down the stunt show and create a dark ride around something he discovered that is creating havoc

Im very excited about the expansion except for toy story playland. The grizzly mountain coaster looks amazing! its an aa bear version of big thunder mountain, making it better. This is how grizzly river run shouldev been done! and Im blown away by the mystic manor. Not what i expected at all. I thought it would be haunted mansion with a monkey, but its much more than that. Instead of the overall ghost themeing they bring in monsters like mummys and it makes the ride better. Cant wait!
HKDL is much different than the rest because it really takes certain rides and makes them much bitter! Just check out their Jungle Cruise which is more thrilling than Rao's favorite ride at WDW.
I hope they keep some scenes from the Haunted Mansion in there including the Singing Busts and Ezra the Ghost (which, I believe, are the only items found in ALL the current verisions of the Haunted Mansions)
