What happened to Disney's Dark Kingdom?
Walt Disney World: What ever happened to the proposed WDW fifth park?
I would love to see a fifth theme park built a WDW, the dark kingdom park would go nice with WDW. What ever happened to the dark kingdom idea?
no idea, but it was just a rumor, never anything official if i remember right.

I'm pretty sure it was cancelled due to the economic recession. I never liked the idea anyways!

the Last thing i heard was that it's still being planned or something but that it was going to come. I don't like the cut backs they made on it.
Do you think they will build another park?
Oh they'll build but I can't see another major theme park for at least ten years. Once things begin to take an upwards turn we'll hear more in regards to rumors about parks building up new areas.
If anything I'd hazard a guess at perhaps another water park or even perhaps a newer version of Disney Quest before we see anything major.
