Does anyone know about Busch Gardens Williamsburg being closed to entry on Saturday October 9, 2010 because they were at capacity? I got an update Saturday on Facebook saying it was at capacity and closed to entry but I never heard anything else about it. If it is true, has it ever happened before. I have been attending that park for many years and I don't remember it being closed to entry.

It was indeed closed for a small while. The park had reached capacity and due to safety issues were turning people away. However after about 45 minutes or so the park reopened as people started to leave.. I believe it was that bad because of very good weather and a mix of people coming out for the park in the day and people coming in for howl o scream a few hours early.. Not to mention it was a Saturday. I wouldn't expect to see it that bad for a while however it can and will get close plenty of times I am sure.

It happened a couple of times during the summer and last year for Christmastown.
