I Wish Holiday World Was Open For The Holidays!

Although, I'm thankful for Holiday World from May through August, I sure wish they had a world class party during the Holiday season too!

After seeing a photo of that Thanksgiving dinner from the Plymouth Cafe at Holiday World, I found myself wishing Holiday World would open limited hours for the Holidays. I'd love to visit Thanksgiving Land around Thanksgiving, ride the Voyage in the cold and take a trip through Gobbler Get-A-Way. I think Holiday World could also put on a limited (without all the rides open obviously) Christmas party with a great light show every December. I bet people would drive for hours to visit the official Santa Claus Land around Christmas just to look at lights, drink hot chocolate and meet Santa Claus. Of course, they could also take advantage of Halloween Land to host a family friendly Halloween event. I'm sure the Koch family needs a little break to plan the next Summer's fun, but I think they could score big with families during the Holidays.

I am thinking that it should stay open until the end of November (limited hours of course, perhaps weekends).

Assuming that they have the same weather as here in Chicago, it does not get really cold until the end of November. I am actually suprised they are not open for Halloween!

Sounds like a great idea for a great park. Here's another suggestion for the Koch family:

Move the park about a thousand miles east.

I'm surprised Pat Koch hasn't emailed me yet to discuss my ideas! Hee hee. BTW, Holiday World is fine right where it is. Maybe you guys can convince them to franchise another park?
