I had a dream about the new Seven Dwarfs coaster...

Walt Disney World: WOW!

Alright so it might sound crazy but I had a dream about the new Seven Dwarfs coaster, and if it comes close to the dream WOW! Heres now it went:

The line took you through the mining cave through lots of the scenes all the while singing Hi-Ho! After quite an amazing treck down into a cave you came upon the loading dock-

There was a slight problem with loading and unloading, apparently my dream world didn't think this through. I have set the plans in place though, changes are being made. ;)

The ride itself was a big train car that could fit 4 people with a Dwarf anamitronic in the front. Now- it'd be a little excessive to have an anamitronic on board but it was awesome. He turned around and told you how to drive the car and what was coming next.

Moving on. The tack was inside of a mining mountain, of course, and was full up up and downs, twists and turns, and lots of near misses!
At one point the track "Almost" became derailed. Once you got past all of the falling rocks you got locked into a room full of dazzling gems! In this room you even turned into a dazzling gem via light projections and mirrors. The track is pretty much leading you out of the collapsing mountain.

Then the dwarf returned everyone to safety and all is well.

Like I said- this might be lame but I thought someone might appreciate it. It's hard to describe and probably PRETTY far off from what it will be but maybe it will still impress us all.

I have dreams about coasters often..because, obviously, it's a subject I think about a lot and is close to my heart. I just had one two nights ago. I don't keep a dream journal any longer, so I remember very few details.

I was at SF Great Adventure on Opening Day. The park..as is always the case with any amusement park in my dreams..looked NOTHING like I know it to look. I rode NITRO and got off, trying to figure out what was different about it. I rode again and realized it..the bunny hills that finish the ride had been removed...replaced by a level, elevated, meandering track with mild curves...the train moving about three miles an hour (think train-ride-around-the-park type movement.)

That wasn't a dream, that was a @#$%&ing NIGHTMARE!!!

How interesting! Just a few nights ago I dreamed I rode the upcoming Black Diamond ride at Knoebels. Except they sold all their animatronics and replaced them with paintings of rainbows made by a group of third graders. It was awful.

Colton,

I'm looking forward to Black Diamond, and I hope to get to Knoebels this season..it's been two years since I was there, and that was an abbreviated visit. Although I have no specific memories of Golden Nugget (which I'm sure you know was Black Diamond's former life in Jersey) it had to be one of the first few coasters I ever rode. Now, about 275 later, I get to ride it again. Plus Twister :)

Mike,

I'm also looking forward to Black Diamond. The Golden Nugget was the first ride I can remember riding so I can't wait to ride it again.

There is a theme park in my dreams. Frankly, you wouldn't want to go there. I'm not sure why, but my dreams all take place in a very consistent and disturbing alternate reality, with just enough surreality to throw everything off. The park's main attraction is a roller coaster that is quite literally a cobbled-together scrap metal rocket on wheels. The thing shoots sparks from the chinks between the rusty metal plates, only some seats have any sort of restraints, and you better pray you're sitting down before the thing literally takes off down the track, spewing a rocket blast from its tail end...

My dreams give me the willies...

I recently posted about my dream of spending the night on Tom Sawyer Island. I suppose these types of dreams are common among nutjobs like those of us that visit TPI every day!
