Disney vs. Universal for Smurfs

Universal Orlando: Thank you, Andrew Dougherty

E.T. Adventure will replace by a Smurfs ride at Universal Orlando.

But you say it's a Terrible Idea.

But thanks to Andrew Dougherty, He says Disney would better suit them. Maybe replace Pooh in Orlando and California with the smurfs, replace Muppet-Vision 3D with Smurfs 4D film or a Stage Show but would be long shot and most likely really kid oriented.

Which side do you want to put, Disney or Universal?

P.S. Do NOT put "None of the Above" and "All of the Above". I'm Nervous.

Thanks Andrew.

"She?"

Also, what makes you so confident that Universal will definitely replace E.T.?

None of the above. Trolololololololololo

In all seriousness, any Smurf ride would be terrible.

Imagine the complaining when everybody plugs their ears at the song Ooh Ooh La by Britney Spears on the Smurfs ride replacing Pooh and Poohs Hunny Hunt.
No,just no.
A live show won't cut it, and everyone loves the Muppets, or at least the audience, because no one cares about the muppets being outdated.
And while I'm at it, what happend to the Really Good Britney Spears from 2009? Ooh Ooh La was terrible. Universal might have better use with the Smurfs and the movie brand, but I agree with Dominick.
TROLOLOlOLOL!!!

Andrew said "Just a heads up I'm a guy."

What?! No way! These darn online forums always confuse the heck out of me!

See Andrew, No one wants The Smurfs. But, I Want is in Disney.

Dominick D, What part of "Do NOT put NONE OF THE ABOVE" don't you understand. by the way, Choose "Disney" side, Do it for Kids.

Tyler, Disney can handle The Smurfs to attract Small Children than Universal.

Oscar Marquez is the new Manny.

But I think the other one's still lurking around.

You know Universal could just add a live show in Kidzone to replace Barney, most of the theme fits, even the post-show backyard. The round stage will make it an interactive experience..

On the other hand, Disney could make a live show like they did with Mickey and the Magical Map. Maybe a new amphitheater in Fantasy Land or replace Captian EO with the Smurfs
Winner- Universal..

Oscar, any Smurfs attraction in any park would be terrible, so I'm going on neither side.

Mike, I thought the same thing, but Manny still posts here semi regularly

Smurfs has made about 9.5 million in 2 days, so it doesn't look like it will be a flop, but may not match the box office of the first film.

I'm not completely opposed to an attraction based on the Smurfs, depending on what it is.

Like I've said before, Transformers the Ride is a fine example of how an attraction can easily surpass it's (movie) source material.

Hopefully the smurfs never comes to either park but if it did, I would think Universal would take it. Plus, Winnie the Pooh is a hit attraction so thats not going anywhere anytime soon

Which probably explains the whole "Blah Blah Writes" and "I Respond:" schtick.

You know ... balance.
