Say goodbye to Fastpasses

Walt Disney World: A sad day as Disney eliminates regular Fastpasses

So sad Disney has decided to do away with regular Fastpasses and limit to FP+ catering to resort guests. I've always believed Disney was worth paying for because you got a quality experience. Fastpasses were a big part of that to someone like me who knows his way around, plans ahead, and arrives early. But now Disney says you must stay with us and spend much more $$ even be offered a mere 3 FP+ per day. This may be my last trip to WDW.

Non resort guests can still get Fastpass+, but they have to wait til they get to the park. I am not a huge fan of this change either.

If this is going to keep you from going to WDW, then you are going to WDW for the wrong reasons.

It is still better than the UNI system where non resort guests must PAY for the front of the line pass. BTW the last time I was at WDW (2012) most of the FP's were gone by noon for the more popular attractions. AT least with this system I should finally be able to do Toy Story Mania next time I visit.
