New Kong Ride coming to IOA?
Universal Orlando: Is the King of Skull Island making his return in the foreseeable future to a new home at IOA? If yes where would he go? Toon Lagoon?
Screamscape reports that there is a new rumor going around that a new attraction maybe being put into IOA in the next few years. It would be located in that big empty space between Ripsaw Falls and the tall Jurassic Park building, running behind the Thunder Terrace restaurant. The rumors suggest that this is ride version of the King Kong: 360 3D attraction already at USH. Any confirmation on this? Ideas? Any similar rumors?

Screamscape is a reliable source for rumors, but it's fed with false info alot, and this is no exception.

This is new to me. UOR needs to put the brakes on construction for a bit. The parks don't look good with the always present cranes everywhere.
This doesn't surprise me, however. Comcast is handing out blank checks to ensure Universal can keep up with the mouse. It sounds like they are going for the jugular.
Anyone who says Universal can't compete with Disney is fooling themselves. When the new HP expansion opens, both parks will see another huge jump in attendance.

I also believe that Universal will again have a huge jump in attendance between all the new additions. There's a lot of Universal excitement out there on the blogs. But I think their foot will remain heavy on the pedal for the next few years. They have 1.5 billion, at least, to spend. I don't love the construction walls either, but with big progress sometimes comes a little discomfort. Once the London buildings start going up, and that will be soon, it won't look all that bad. What I didn't care for last spring was the sightlines over the flattened Jaws area. You could see those apartments/townhouses from the park and it hurt the ambiance. But Universal construction is in really high gear. Things are going up fast with the 24/7 schedules and sometimes changing almost over night. Transformers was really quick and appears way ahead of even the accelerated schedule.
IOA is based no written media, and that's not the case of King Kong.
