What to do at Disney Adventure World

Disneyland Paris opened its second gate, Walt Disney Studios Park, on March 16, 2002. On March 29, 2026, Disney renamed the park Disney Adventure World and opened its Adventure Way expansion, including the Adventure Bay lagoon and World of Frozen. Disney's first land themed to The Lion King is now under construction and will open on Adventure Bay a later date.
New in 2026
- Frozen Ever After: A clone of the indoor boat ride from Hong Kong Disneyland, Frozen Ever After anchors the new World of Frozen land, which also will include a character meet with Queens Anna and Elsa in Arendelle Castle and a daily Celebration in Arendelle show on Arendelle Bay.
- Disney Cascade of Light: Disney Adventure World's nighttime spectacular will play on the new Adventure Bay. The show will include custom-built, low-flying drones, fountains, projections, and pyro.
- Raiponce Tangled Spin: A teacups-style ride themed to "Tangled" and located on Adventure Way.
Beyond 2026, Disney will install an "Up"-themed waveswinger across from the Tangled Spin.

Park Map
Disneyland Paris is located 20 miles east of Paris and served by the Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy train station. You can access the resort via RER from Paris or a quick, direct TGV ride from the Charles De Gaulle Airport. For door-to-door service from the Paris airports to the Disney hotels, choose the Magical Shuttle bus service.
Strategy
Buy your tickets in advance, and consider the Premier Access upgrade if your time in the park is limited. Premier Access includes:
- Frozen Ever After
- Raiponce Tangled Spin
- Crush's Coaster
- Spider-Man W.E.B. Adventure
- Ratatouille
- The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
- Avengers Assemble: Flight Force
- Cars Road Trip
Disney offers two options for Premiere Access, the "Ultimate" option that allows you to access the bypass queue whenever you would like one time for each attraction and the "One" option that assigns a return time for a single attraction. Prices for the Ultimate option range from US$124-$259 per person while the One option ranges from $5-10.
If you have been on Ratatouille at Walt Disney World and Spider-Man at Disney California Adventure, skip those here as they are the same as in the U.S. parks. If you are a California Adventure fan, consider Tower of Terror here for the nostalgia, otherwise that's also a skip if you have been on the superior Walt Disney World version.
Frozen Ever After is the big get here, followed by Crush's Coaster, if only for its poor through-put leading to long wait times. Consider Premiere Access for those if you cannot get to them immediately upon park opening. While the Frozen boat ride is lovely, the shows are the best attractions here, especially Mickey and the Magician, so check the Disneyland Paris app for those showtimes and plan your schedule around them.
If you are interested in princess character dining, visit Disney's website to book The Regal View Restaurant exactly two months before your planned visit, or as soon as you book your on-site Disney hotel. Or just drop into the Lounge next door for the views and vibe.
