Gardaland is built on the shores of Lake Garda, Italy's largest lacustrine body, and was opened in 1975. The resort first topped 1 million visitors per annum in 1984; the present yearly attendance total is roughly 2.7 million, thus allocating the resort the 8th spot among European amusement parks. The resort contains Gardaland, the amusement park, the Gardaland Hotel, and the Sea Life Aquarium, alongside aquatic amenities to be found on Lake Garda.

How do you get to Gardaland?
Take the A22 to the A4 toward Milan and exit at Sommacampagna, following the signs to Gardaland.
